Speaking of style, our design partner, Andrea & Co, helped us create a lower level filled with design personality! We love the pops of pattern, color, metallics, reclaimed wood, and tile used throughout. The mix of materials brings so much life and fun to the room; it's like a party for your eyes!

Clean and Classic 1970's Update by REFINED Remodeling

"We enjoyed working with Kathy to update the main level of her longtime home. Designed and built by her brother, Kathy's parents lived in her house for many years. Her father was in the lumber business, so Kathy has a deep appreciation for the quality and details of the original construction. A vital component of this renovation was respecting the original design, and then adding the modern convenience and style of a chef's kitchen, updated bathrooms, and a more open main living area. One of the most fun aspects of the project was Kathy's sense of humor and her openness to pushing the design envelope. This original 1970s home in Edina’s Normandale Park neighborhood was ready for a new look! Our REFINED Remodeling team gave the entire main floor a refreshing design update. The highlight of this stunning renovation is the gourmet eat-in kitchen, which flows effortlessly into the dining and living areas. The main floor also includes a cozy sitting room with a gas fireplace that's perfect for lingering over a glass of wine or settling in with a good book. Moving to the second floor, we updated the master suite to be a sophisticated and peaceful retreat. We hope these homeowners enjoy their newly remodeled space for years to come; it perfectly complements this classic Edina neighborhood!

Located in Eden Prairie’s sought-after Olympic Hills neighborhood, this young family transformed their main and upper-level living areas. This stunning renovation includes an updated kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and master suite with dramatic light-filled interiors overlooking the private golf course. The home was designed and built to have an open floor plan for easy entertaining. This was achieved by replacing walls with a thoughtfully designed pass-through buffet and columns, allowing the gourmet kitchen to join the main-level formal dining and living room. The main-level powder room, three upper-level bedrooms, kids bath/laundry, loft, and master suite were all elegantly updated as well – this home is truly a must-see! More details

Charming Bungalow Remodel in Linden Hills

At REFINED Remodeling, we love taking on fun projects that let us flex our creative muscles. So, when one of Twin Cities most admired lifestyle bloggers, Tamara Waterson, and her husband, John, approached us about remodeling their little bungalow, we couldn’t have been more excited! When we say little, we mean little! Located in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, this charming home is under 600 square feet! Once renovations are complete this spring, Tamara and John plan to use the home as a short term rental property.
