From The Parade of Homes to launching our Trees from REFINED program to building and remodeling beautiful client homes, 2018 was a year we won't soon forget.

It might be our favorite feeling: a freshly finished home just waiting for a family to move in and fill it with their memories. Our team recently completed this beautiful 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom Edina home. Modern, clean, and classic, each space in this lovely house is airy and bathed in natural light.

If we could choose one word to describe this home, it would be sophisticated. Each room is carefully calibrated, creating an elegant balance between current trends and timeless taste. Even the color palette throughout is neutral and minimal, made up of crisp white, cream, grey, black, and light wood tones.

We can't wait to see what this home looks like once this family furnishes it with their prized possessions! Until then, scroll below to see more photos of our favorite design elements, cozy corners, and sun-soaked spaces.

Holiday-Ready Hosting Spaces

Thanksgiving is only a week away, which means the holiday season has officially arrived. Each family has their own unique holiday traditions, from decorations to gifts to favorite recipes. However, what remains universal is the desire to gather with the people we love.

Hosting friends and family with class and care is an art. Making someone feel welcome in your home means providing an atmosphere of easy warmth and sincere consideration. Hospitality is the result of countless small choices that add up to a rich experience.

You could say the same of the home design process. Creating spaces that suit everything from daily life to cocktail hour to Christmas dinner takes a lot of careful planning. Our client's homes reflect their family's distinct lifestyle, taste, and entertaining approach.

For some that may be a formal dining room made for traditional meals with all the trimmings! Others prefer open main floors with the casual flow that's perfect for cookie baking marathons. Another minority is all about designing a party-ready lower level that's perfect for greeting the new year!

Whatever their taste may be, it's our job to translate our client's vision and hosting style into a beautifully built home. Want to explore more of these holiday-ready spaces? Browse a few of our favorites below!

Rare Opportunity: Own Two Adjacent Edina Lots!

Two-edina-lots.jpg

5908 & 5904 Kellogg Avenue, Edina

Designing new homes may be our bread and butter, but we also scout out a select number of premier lots in the Edina area. Creating a custom home is a complex endeavor. However, at times one of the most fundamental aspects of the process can be overlooked: the location.

The neighborhood and community surrounding a home have a significant influence on a family's lifestyle. In specific, a yard is your own little slice of nature.

Whether you're craving a peaceful outdoor haven or a poolside oasis for hosting family and friends, a spacious lot provides the canvas for your backyard dreams.

Because many of our clients are building their homes in a well-established area, extra acreage is in high demand. An oversized lot is a rarity in the west metro!

Which is why we're excited to share that we recently acquired two beautiful adjacent Edina lots. Located just walking distance from renovated 64-acre Pamela Park, shops, and restaurants, this neighborhood is a Twin Cities gem!

The options are endless: keep the yard large for kids to run and play, enjoy the scenic green space, install a pool or sport court to host with style, or simply hold onto the extra lot for now and sell it in the future.
